No notifications from Activity app after update to Watch OS 4

I am getting warnings to tell me to stand if I haven't in the hour but not getting any badges for achieving goals.

My 242 day Longest Move Streak award is stuck but it seems to still be counting as it says underneath that I have a 244 day streak today, just no date change on the back of the badge.

I did though get a double move goal award this morning for yesterday???

Very irritating as I use my watch and the health app all the time!!

Appreciate it's not the end of the world but rather annoying. You would honestly expect better from Apple.

I do though like where it tells you how far off you are from reaching the 200, 300 and 400 Move goals.

Let's hope for an update and fix soonest.

I also before anyone says have everything set up, turned on etc as it should be.

I am receiving breathe notifications and the stand notifications.

It works fine apart from the lack of badges.

I have the original Apple Watch.

We need to be patient as hard as it is at times, I reminded myself in times like this when I got a update on my Galaxy S3 and I found out that Android and Samsung did not have technical support for issues and I was on my on to fix it myself with the information I could find on the internet. Took me almost a week with a complete out of service phone. I’m always glad that when I need them Apples tech support is their to help.

Wow that’s a result. So you are getting the breathe prompts/notifications too? I’ve tried toggling it on and off plus restarting both phone and watch but still can’t kick it into life. Not sure about the stand notifications as the demand of my kids and work hasn’t allowed the chance to test it out yet!

Yesterday, I received only two notifications with one telling me to close all rings as I’d done the day before and to stand during an hour I was inactive grading papers. No badges, for the past two days have been given but my friends have been receiving them because I get their Activity updates. Also, I’m upset that I completed a PERFECT month but wasn’t given a badge for September due to this glitch. I hope Apple can provide the missing badges to us after the fact, smh.

I tried some of the suggestions I read on here but to no avail and I’m kind of at my wits end as we shouldn’t be troubleshooting this much for an issue that should’ve been caught while being beta tested.

Same here. Perfect June, July, August, AND September but no badge for September. It says my longest streak is 121 but my current streak is 123 days. I am really not happy about it but it is good to know others are experiencing this.... the Chat support did not help but I have a call scheduled tomorrow with their Watch specialists. if I learn anything I will share it here.

Wow! I’m glad your reboot worked. I’ve powered down/rebooted my phone and watch several times over the last few days and nothing. I’ll continue to be patient!

I started getting my stand notifications the following day! The current stand hour still doesn't blink like it used to prior to the update, but I am getting the reminder at xx:50 if I haven't earned my stand credit yet.

tried all the suggestions above. still get no breathe notifications (yes the reminders are ON).

further, some 3rd party app notifications do not vibrate, they just pop up.

there are some little things not working on watchos 4. not the end of the world, but a litte pity.

I don't get stand reminders but I get alerts when I close the rings... even though it's set not to alert me. I've never had that switched on so after the last update it's just decided to do that and not remind me to stand. Recently contacted Apple Service through chat for a different Activity app. issue and they checked the hardware on both my phone and watch and confirmed all was fine.

Yes, the wheelchair setting is set to "no."

Yes, I've restarted my phone after this.

Yes, I've unpaired and repaired my watch.

No, it's not set on 'do not disturb.'

Same here. Did they even QA test the watch OS 4 ? Finding so many quirks

Has anyone found a solution to this problem? 🙂

I have same issue and my streak is 571 and I am afraid to lose it 😰
