Why did you change the Arabic font in ios 11
The new Arabic font in the latest update IOS 11 is bad . Can you return the old font please ?

Yes it worked, with some improvement on font, but still it is not as good as earlier.

From ios 11 arabic font | Apple Developer Forums:
- Go to Settings -> Languages and remove Arabic.
- Shut down your phone and turn it back on.
- Go to Settings -> Languages and add Arabic again.
I haven't seen this myself, but it may have to do with the switch from Naskh to Nastaliq as the default font in iOS 11.

Did the above, but still got the same ugly font!!!

Apple switched to San Francisco in iOS 9 already. Are you talking about some "newer" one?
The Russian and Greek fonts stayed the same and they’re not Latin scripts so don’t know why Apple bothered changing the Arabic font
Could someone post a screenshot of the new font? I have not yet updated for various reasons and am curious what they have done...
the new Arabic font in ios 11 is an EYESORE to even look at; soooooo ugly.
Didn’t work, tried many times.
Current Arabic font is very disappointed, the old text style was much clearer and easier to read and write.
Make sure that Arabic is higher than Urdu on the Preferred Languages list in settings > general > language.

This font is horrible !! Change it. Now.
But that is from MacOS. This discussion is for iOS.
