Weather widget not working on ios 11

At least one contributor has been having success with 11.3 beta; so, here's hoping.

Widget still works very well after a week of usage.

Does someone try weather widget with 11.3 beta 2?

I faced this problem with iPhone SE (iOS 11.2.6). When I checked location settings it was Always. But after clicking on Never and back to Always widget started working properly

3D Touch on weather icon fixed it for me thankyou!

Give more info please, do you mean it's fixed the widget update issue! What did you select after "3D Touch", how did touching icon influence widget?

Me too... 26 pages of complaints Apple. How about getting it fixed?

Just to group-report that which has happened again today: No weather widget — native app, TWC, AccuWeather, Dark Sky — currently updates correctly. We’ve had our opinions on this.

This has been a persistent problem for many of us since 11.0. We’ve tried everything including the extremes of wiping the phone clean and restoring as new. It’s been a near six-month problem. Ugh

Looks like this might be resolved with 11.3. First, 11.3 release notes indicates improvements in water app. And second, more important, widget seems to be working so far.

Still working for me also, been four days since update so think I can stop holding my breath, just hope Apple don’t “undo” things with a future iOS release!

Genau. On phone and iPad the widget consistently flashes quickly upon swiping then displays correct data.

With changing to 'Always' or 'While using the app' it seems to work correctly.

But with 'Never' it does not work as expected - BUT it worked with 'Never' on older IOS versions.
