iOS 11 Bluetooth music playback bug?

I am currently having an issue with music playback info when connected to my car or a BT speaker? The music plays fine, but the song info (title, artist, album, etc.) is no longer showing up on my car's display or on my phone when connected to a BT speaker. Right now I have my music playing through my Bose BT speaker and when I press my home button to change the song from my lock screen (like you would in any previous iOS), it doesn't show as playing music at all, and the play/pause, skip, and volume controls are all greyed out. If I go into the Music app, everything is normal on my phone, but on the other end (speaker or my car) it still shows no song info. Am I alone? Is this a bug, or can it be fixed?

I have some Jabra Move v2.5.0 bluetooth headphones and everytime I hit the play/pause button on my headset while I am listening to a podcast on my podcast player, pocket cast, the phone will switch to apple music app and then play what I was listening to last, then if I hit the button again it will not pause the song until I unlock my phone. Would like to know what I should do...

I am having a slightly different issue since the upgrade. The Bluetooth in my iPhone 6 randomly cuts out when streaming to the audio system in the car (2015 Honda CR V EX-L). It always shows the music playing on the display in the car, but no sound. Wait a few minutes or switch sources and sometimes it comes back. Other times if I skip a song, the audio disappears again. Other times it plays fine for 2-4 songs and then goes silent. Everything worked fine until the upgrade to iOS 11, and the patch.

I am have the same issue. Immediately after updating to IOS 11 on my 6S, I started losing bluetooth every few minutes while streaming a radio station over cellular data. This is consistent regardless of the streaming station. My 6S will lose the bluetooth connection then will retry connecting. It usually reconnects and then sometimes the stream restarts. But many times after bluetooth reconnects I have to press play on the station to restart streaming. This never happened before updating to ios 11. Never.

Adding to the commiseration. I have a VW 2015 GTI base trim. With my iPhone 7 on iOS 11 my infotainment screen has stopped displaying song information (title, artist, etc...). Music playback does go through, but any time I try to control the music (skip, pause, previous) it causes Spotify on my phone to pause the music. Pressing play from the infotainment screen does not resume playback.

Apple, if you need any diagnostic information from my system please reach out. I'd be happy to provide it.

I am having the same issue. Prior to updating to iOS 11 my Bluetooth in my 2014 Odyssey was perfect. Now it is hit or miss if the correct information will be displayed. I’m also having a problem where I’ll answer a call but it doesn’t direct it to the Bluetooth but instead answers on the phone. I’ve tried unpairing and repairing, rebooting phone, and finally deleting and reinstalling all music but no change. Anyone find a solution?

@heyyomamma regarding the issue of directing to phone vs bluetooth, I've struggled with a similar issue but I found that if you answer the call using the phone's touch screen it will direct to phone speakers, and if you answer using the bluetooth controls it will direct to bluetooth system. Perhaps this is what's happening with your situation.

I’m having the same issue since the iOS 11 upgrade I have a Dacia Duster when connecting to BT it no longer shows track information, allows me to skip on the radio or skip through the steering wheel controls.

The only way I am able to do this at present is turn off my Bluetooth and connect the device as an iPod through usb connection. Hoping for a fix soon Apple!!
