iTunes cannot locate the CD Configuration folder...

After installation of iOS 11 the following error message pop up appears every time iTunes opens...

iTunes cannot locate the CD Configuration folder, so you cannot import or burn CDs and DVDs. This folder must be in the same directory as iTunes.

Only option is to click the "OK" button.

How do I diagnose and fix this issue?

iPhone 6s, iOS 11, error code 2003

I installed iTunes on another drive (not my C: drive). See this write-up, https://www.softwarert.com/itunes-cannot-locate-cd-configuration-folder/,

The fix this article proposes is to browse to c:\program files\iTunes, and MOVE the "CD Configuration" folder from C: to the appropriate drive letter / iTunes installation folder.

This has resolved the issue for me.
