iPhone vibrating randomly

I noticed that after I updated to iOS 11 on my iPhone 7 Plus that it would randomly vibrate. Sort of like when you have a bad charge cable and it keeps connecting and disconnecting. However, it does this even when it’s not on it’s charge. In order to sleep at night I have to put it in Do Not Disturb mode. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Check your sound settings, because mine were altered after the update. In Settings > Sounds there is a "Sounds and Vibration Patterns" panel, and the "New Voicemail" and "New Mail" settings had been set to "Vibrate". Try turning those and any others you don't want back to "None".

Same issue for me on an iphone 6+ and iphone 6 (ios 11.0.1 and 11.0.2) same problem on both versions and both phones + laaaaaagggs everywhere

So I thought I had this situation figured out, however after the iOS 11.0.2 update, it started happening again. I’m going I try to hard reset my phone again and see what happens.

I have a similar problem, the Ringer goes on or off spontaneously, with 2-3 vibrations. I have a 6S upgraded to iOS 11.1.2

iOS Beta 2 of 11.2 seems to have fixed the issue for me. For people not using the beta software, it looks like the official release of 11.2 may fix the issue.
