I doubt it was done intentionally due to how sloppy the removal of those buttons was implemented.
(The empty space where the buttons used to be actually enters keys that are not there.)
AND if it was done intentionally it was a terrible decision because they replaced those buttons with NOTHING.
This forum is for feedback and that is what people are providing.
Saying another keyboard is available is not relevant to the feedback, but it does point out another reason why it is a bad change for apple. Why would Apple want to implement a change that forces people to use a competitor's product, no matter how inconsequential (and I'm not saying the keyboard is)?
It's just a bad change all around.
