cant turn off wrist detection

since doing the latest iOS upgrade on my phone, I can't turn off the wrist detection on my watch. I enter my watch passcode say ok and it just sits there. Then times out. I have tried rebooting both the Watch and phone with no luck. I have tried turning off the lock code also with no luck.

Hi

As the Passcode option and Wrist Detection cannot be turned off for your Apple Watch, passcode-related restrictions may be enforced on your iPhone (via a corporate configuration profile, mobile device management or Exchange policy).

Such restrictions also affect the paired Apple Watch.

If your iPhone is managed in this way, then contact your device administrator for further information and help.
