Hello Everyone, i bought an Apple TV 4K yesterday to attach with Samsung SUHD 65JS8500 TV. I have been using till now Apple TV 4th Gen and it worked fine. I am seeing dull colors in ATV 4K compared to ATV 4th Gen, same settings, Dynamic Colors, Chroma Subsampling: 4:2:2..
What i am missing??

No, in fact in the home screen itself, i can tell the colors are dull.
Home screen? Change your Appearance setting to Dark theme and see if that’s better.
I found if you change the dynamic contrast it gives you a more acceptable result.
Yes, there is an HDMI 2.0 standard for devices, it doesn't apply to cables.
Cables are “standard”, “high speed” and “premium high speed” and nothing else.

I think this is an issue with the ATV4K, addressed in the latest beta:

Increased on-screen UI brightness for HDR output. (34019671)
So should be available as a fix soon.

Settings > Video and Audio > Chroma
Thats´s the problem. I don't have a choice of Chroma in Settings > Video and Audio.
Try switching to HDR instead of SDR
Correction: After getting the colorspace back to 4:2:0 - indeed there is a setting for Chroma.
The chroma setting is removed when a DV setting is selected.
