does this mean it is impossible to export uncompressed files with garageband's app on ios? The files in my icloud folders were large aiffs sometimes over 100 megabytes,(15mb≈1min) I'm thinking that has to be more than 256kbps and the quality of these is sufficient, however from what I remember I would click to export uncompressed quality and produce a large m4a aurally and sizewise similar to the aiffs, yet incompatible with distributors. If there isnt a way to produce aiffs, why are there uncompressed higher than 256kbps aiffs saved to my icloud? Did GB get worse with the last update? Is the only way to produce HQ files with OSX? that's sad and confusing
Did you miss the bit I put in BOLD for EMPHASIS? One of the many export options in GarageBand for iOS is:
AIFF
(Both Apple Lossless and AIFF are full CD quality export formats - Apple Lossless and AIFF can be losslessly converted to each other or WAV).
