The flash on my iphone 6 stopped working after update to iOS 11. Specific apps affected are the flashlight function and flash photography using camera app. I know that its not a hardware problem as third party flashlight apps still work; the led alsp flashes during an incoming call alert.
Has anybody else experienced the same issue?

Thanks for the reply but i kinda figured out the problem. iOS 11 now allows older phones to set flash intensity. Apparently the default is intensity 3 which is giving my phone a hard time. The flashlight works if I set it to any other intensity. But a further question remains - is it just my phone having a problem with intensity 3 or are other older phones experiencing the same?

Restart your device and then see section "your flash isn't working" (2nd paragraph) of following support article:

This has happened to my iPhone 6 as well as at least 17 other people by the looks of this thread. Has there been any official word from Apple on how to fix this or have you found a trick?
