but our problem is diferent, our problem is auto disconnect wifi and if we try to reconnect so ofcourse it can reconnect.

so the articule u have provided is not usefull for nothing just waste of time.

Hi I also encountered the same problem. I also update my iphone 6s into iOs 11.3 (the latest version). Yet it's still the same. I am also frustrated and too stress searching for the solution.

I had this problem aswel and nothing from the internet worked than i tried fixing it myself and i found a solution

1- go to settings

2-wifi

3- click on the wifi network that keeps disconnecting and enable auto-connect

Oke thats annoying i dont know what could be The problem of that. Maby because your wifi router turns off when ur away or does it reset (no power to the router) that could be the problem if not, im sorry i cant help u than

Had something similar, the wifi icon would briefly show, then disconnect and disappear.

Turns out the VPN was messing up.

Deactivated it under

Settings>General>VPN>Personal VPN (toggle to OFF).

This did it for me. So far...

Had this problem recently too. One solution recommended on sites is to "reset network settings" but that would mean losing all saved passwords for the various wifi's that I've visited before so that didn't sound good.

What I did do is clicked the I (info) to the right then clicked "Forget This Network". I then re-entered the Apple password & it connected & has been fine since.

I have no idea what triggered the problem to begin with. This is on a 5S w/ 11.3 OS

I now see that 11.3.1 OS is available so that may have caused it (prompting for an upgrade).

I am having this problem with two iPhone 8's both with Version 11.3.1 (15E302) installed. Phones have had network settings reset for wifi, connections forgotten, auto join selected etc. At first, I thought it was the crappy Xfinity cable modem / wireless router, but I put that in bridge mode and connected my own router and still get the same issue. Switches from WIFI to LTE randomly and it doesn't seem to matter if we are sitting right in front of the router or in another room. Same issue.

I see they update the phones for this that and the other, but I haven't really even seen any Apple tech 'truly' address the issue. I would thing a problem that has been happening for over a year warrants heave research time by Apple so a solution can be identified.

I believe this is an issue with the new update. Never had any such issue but only post the new update 11.3.1 that I have been facing similar issues of the WiFi home network getting disconnect frequently. Esp when the phone is on standby mode. Every time I open example Whatsapp it keeps asking me to connect to available networks.

It is pretty clear to me that Apple does not see this as an IOS issue. But it IS!!! I tried all things mentioned in these posts. But still each time my phone disconnects. It is even worse because in the flitst WiFi it shows that WiFi is connected to my Network but on the top main screen it says 3g Or 4g, No WiFi symbol. So there is an inconsistency in IIOS. This issue is dragging on for more than a year and Apple Does not take it serious. My non iOS devices do not have this issue. So I give this one more month and if this is not fixed by Apple then I will sell my iPhone and move to Android. It is ridicoulous to work with technology like this and keep get disconnected. Shame on you Apple for not taking this serious.

Same is happening to me. Same phone same trouble after installation of ios 11.1

Same problem with the most updated ios now. I have been in this situation for 2 months and I am switching to pixel. So frustrated to see it didn't work after all the things people told you to try.

I updated my iphone 6s to 11.2.1 and still have this problem.i use my ipad air in same condation with deferent apple id but without any wifi disconnection !
