I'm using iTunes 12.7, and I like my column browser to be a certain size. I adjust it as desired, but the next time I start iTunes, it's tiny again. In previous versions, it remained at the size I had set. How can I regain control over this part of the app?

There are a few other threads on this topic. It appears to be a bug/issue with the current version of iTunes. On mine, the browser starts at 3 lines including the header. I can't move it at all. And, I haven't read any workaround/solution.
I can resize mine, although it looks like I shouldn't be able to. The mouse cursor doesn't take on the "vertical resize" shape when I put it in the appropriate place, but it still works. There's a little bit of guessing involved.
Hello, I found a workaround.
Move the mouse to the bottom edge of the column browser, and drag it all the way down.
The mouse cursor won't change to indicate when you can start dragging, so you will have to try this a couple times.
Once you do this, go to another playlist and then back to the one where you dragged the column browser.
The column browser should be still down.
Now drag it to where you want it, and everything will work normally from now on.
I had to do this on 2 playlists, the rest fixed themselves without any further action.
