I have a 35 page document that I would like to add page numbers to, but I don't want page numbers on the title page.
I have made a new section, but the page numbering still starts from 2.
MacBook Air, macOS Sierra (10.12)
Click in your first section (title), and then click the word Document in the toolbar. On the Section tab : Headers & Footers, check Hide on first page of section.
Now, click on next section, same panel location as above for that section, and uncheck Hide on first page of section. In Pages Numbering, click Start at: 1. There will be no page number displayed in the first section, and your second section will start on page 1.
