Safari not working on iPad Mini
I have an iPad Mini 2 running on iOS 10.3.3. Safari is no longer working. One thread here suggested that I should restore the factory settings, which I did. No change. Any other thoughts?

Hello and welcome to Apple Support Communities,
If I understand your post correctly, Safari is not functioning normally on your iPad. I'd like to help.
Here’s an article you may find useful: Clear the history and cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
If that doesn’t fully resolve the issue for you, do you mind telling us a few more details about what's happening with Safari? Also, which method for restoring to factory settings did you use?
Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities. Take care
That shouldn't make a difference on any other iOS, brenden dv.
Upgrading to a new iOS is NOT a solution for older Safari users on either new/newer or older iPads running a previous iOS version.
What is the problem with older versions of Safari?
I have been seeing and reading a scattering of posts of older iOS versions of Safari being problematic on older iDevices.
Does Apple have anything to do with this?
There are still PLENTY of older iPad users using older versions of Safari.
Is there something going on a Apple's end that is causing older Safari versions to have problems?
I was responding to the Apple specialist who replies.
His recommendation is not a solution nor is a suitable solution for iPad users who are using an older iDevice and/or using a previous or older iOS.
Thank you for your response. I updated to iOS 11 and my problem was solved.
While updating to iOS 11 does allow me to use Safari, it does take far longer to engage than other apps/mail etc. Perhaps there is some underlying issue that is Safari specific.
