If you go to your email, in the top right corner there is an edit button. once you hit that, you can select every piece of email you have and one of the options is to delete.
Hi how do I delete specific mail permanently so that receiver’s can’t see it again? I had sent some documents to my colleague due to some emergency but now it doesn’t seem right so I want to delete mail for everyone. Help me please thank you
Apple isn't here and doesn't read these. This is a user to user forum. If you want Apple to hear you, use this link:
Oh my god it really worked 👌thank you very much. This saved me like 2 hours 1247 emails. I was able to mark all as read within seconds. Apple please add this as an official feature.
That works great, thanks. Very helpful. Shame Apple couldn't think that a 'delete all' function would be useful!
I'm glad you've got a solution that works for you.
👌
Thanks, but doesn´t work on iOS11.0.3 , iPhone8. It opens the selected mail, or the app crashes.
The Trash is grey and can't be selected iOS 11.0.3.
Wow. 7,,000 plus emails just gone. Thx.
yes but if you follow my previous instructions you can move all to trash as a folder. good luck! It works on iOS 11.0.3
OK I did everything and once I moved it to trash I deleted it from trash, it automatically pops back up in my inbox. Why is is it doing that??
Mine does the same.
May be your email is IMAP and you need to change server preferences
Again:
EDIT > Select one random email > Press and Hold "MOVE" > while Holding "MOVE", unselect email > Release "MOVE" > Move to Trash or other folder.
Works on iOS 11.1
