If you go to your email, in the top right corner there is an edit button. once you hit that, you can select every piece of email you have and one of the options is to delete.

Thanks, after trying to delete 875 emails one by one, I was getting very frustrated. This way worked like a charm. Super easy

My iPhone 8 doesn’t have a edit button it use to till I did the upgrade this is horrible
My iPhone has an Edit button in the message list screen. Just where it's always been in the upper right corner of the list screen.
Sent is gone forever. You cannot delete an email from someone else's inbox.
