ITUNES FOR IPAD AIR 2?

After update to 11 iTunes will not open. Even tried purchased to see if there was an update. Nothing, did search in Apps and only found iTunes remote?

ipad air 2 ios 11.0....

See this for built in apps. Remove built-in Apple apps from the Home screen on your iOS 10 device or Apple Watch - Apple Support

If you did happen to lose it, or cannot find it, then go to the App Store and look for iTunes Store. That is the correct title of the app to seaerch for in the App Store. If it shows Open, then it should still be on the device, maybe in a folder that you are not aware of.

Do you mean the iTunes Store? That is part of the iOS. What happens when you try to open it?

Check to see if you can download it again, or if you have Restrictions on for the iTunes Store. That could block it. You may also wish to create a backup of your device and restore the iPad to that backup. Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Apple Support

Yes. Let’s say it wasn’t there in any of my apps after I did ios update. Opened Settings tried to get app to work after doing a restart. Still not there and before I did upgrade 11.0 iTunes Store was there. Looked through Apps Store and I could only find iTunes Connect or Remote?

Finally after finding out Spectrum Charter service has been up and down. This morning Itunes Store has been updated and is working because I switched network to ATT. Nice of Spectrum Charter to let their customers know that their services have been this way for 2 weeks. Thank you for your time. All of U.S. has been affected by network services provided by Spectrum Charter. Not too many people happy about not being able to watch their NFL football, Geaux Saints and Cowboys!!

Would you mean an icloud folder? That is the only folder I show on Home bar.

Did a search and it takes me back to App Store to open itunes store and it doesn’t open when a click on ‘OPEN’ button.

No, I'm referring to you have a folder containing multiple apps if you have created any. Also, when loading an iOS, it can create folders on the home page, and they can contain multiple apps. Did you try a spotlight search to see if you could locate it?
