Pages needs to download the font “HeadLineA”.

This is the third time that a document has asked me to do this. Anyone know what this is about or why it keeps coming up? It is only certain documents I clicked download the first 2 times but now click skip.

Hi,

I had a similar experience after updating to Pages 6.3: repeated requests to download a font called Nanum Myeongjo, which I had never used, when creating documents from the Blank template.

I suspect that some of the Pages templates supplied by Apple have been updated with new fonts.

I eventually allowed the update and haven't been troubled by further annoying messages.

The font, if anyone's interested, is similar but not identical to Big Caslon.

Cheers,

H

It does, in invisibles or in Styles.

People seem to ignore that the font is not meant for Latin languages, merely non-Korean text in Korean text.

Professional unicode fonts for non-Latin languages include Latin characters for this purpose. When you have tens of thousands of characters in your font, a hundred or so to cover other languages is nothing.
