On my iPad mini 2 (iOS 11), I can't turn off passcode. Any help?

I need to turn of the passcode lock on my iPad but the button is greyed out so I am unable to turn it off. Please help.

Hi samtiger16. Just to clarify, this may be caused by a profile in Settings > General > Profiles, which may enforce a security policy. Incidentally, a passcode is a good thing anyway, in case you ever lose or misplace your device.
