How to show a date and time on a screenshot

My screenshots only reflect "Yesterday 12:37 p.m."

I would like it to reflect "Tuesday, October 3, 2017"

Hi sberman, thanks for the valuable input. You know your stuff lol.

W: I often go to my contacts, select one, click on the name, then depending on what device they have, usually two to three options are there: text, phone, FaceTime. (Might be in diff order). But when I click on message, it brings me to my text messages screen, but the person’s name is not there. Whether I have saved messages from them or not.

So, I then have to click on compose on the top right, select their name Again from my contact list, and then proceed.

It does not do it with everyone, but it is very very annoying. I should be able to send a text message from the contact list instead of having to go to my messages screen and select from there.

Even when I press and hold the text message function by their name (which drops down and gives two ‘options’, it still does not provide it ready to start typing a message to that person.
