System freezes since High Sierra

Hi,

since i upgraded to High Sierra i get random (every few houres) system freezes/slow downs. Everytime the mouse is still useable but the response needs quite a lot of time and sometimes there is no response at all. I had some freezes where the system recovers after 10 minutes and sometimes i had to do a hard reboot.

I thougt it might be an issue with the current release of High Sierra therefore i installed the 10.13.1 Beta, but the issue is still present.

I have no external drivers installed.

Has anyone an idea what i can do to track down what could cause such an issue?

I have a 2014 MBP, having the same issues still. Previous to update even, upon attaching my LG monitor the whole system would freeze leaving only an option to Hard reboot. If i attach the monitor first then turn on the laptop it works fine, it just cant handle plugging in 'live' anymore.I upgraded to HS today hoping it would resolve the issue but alas its the same. waiting for a patch or a resolve.

Recently I have began to think that Ive experienced more issues with my iPhones and Apple products than ever before.. always an ambassador for Apple products as they 'just work' they are more recently 'not working'. Seems that the Software teams at Apple are not as 'tight' on their update releases as they once were...

I've got Mac Pro (late 2013), v 10.13.3. I've had this issue almost since I got the thing - ie through several upgrades. Thought it got significatly better with Sierra, now that I've upgraded it's locking up every several hours - ie its gone from locking up after weeks to hours. Ran DU on all drives in repair mode, also thought that running Onyx maintenance scripts on it would make things better, but doesn't seem to.

I looked at the log and it seems to have something to with WindowServer and too many wakeup attempts causing the fan to speed up which would account for why the "box" feels warm when it's locked up - but that's just a guess.

Wish this was the case for me... Had it freshly installed from a USB key and it teased me for about 30 minutes doing all sorts of memory and cpu intensive tasks, but then it crashed when browsing a very plain website. My only option left is to get it sent off for a $500 repair, ridiculous considering the total cost of the machine will be $1700 after that. Very frustrating for my first venture into the Mac laptop world for my personal machine.
