Pasting into Keynote but maintaining formatting from Word or Pages

I have formatted talking points for a large presentation and I am trying to paste them from Word or Pages into Keynote, but instead of maintaining the source format, it automatically matches the formatting of whatever text is in Keynote's presenter notes.

Adding a level of complexity, the source text is formatted in a few distinct styles: starting with a title of sorts, followed by actual talking points, with additional information and references below. The font is the same, but the size differs and some of the content is bolded.

Any ideas how to do this without manually adjusting each distinct block of text's style?
