Macbook + bluetooth unavailable

I use a wireless mightymouse with my MacBook. Recently, my mouse stopped working intermitently. When I click on the Bluetooth icon, it says to me "Bluetooth : unavailable" (in french "Bluetooth : non disponible").

My /var/log/system.log say many things like :
Jan 10 21:58:37 MacBook kernel[0]: USBF: 2721.526 AppleUSBHubPort: Port 1 of Hub at 0x7d000000 reported error 0xe00002ed while doing set feature (resetting port)
Jan 10 21:58:38 MacBook kernel[0]: USBF: 2722.246 AppleUSBHubPort: Port 1 of Hub at 0x7d000000 reported error 0xe00002ed while doing set feature (resetting port)
Jan 10 21:58:40 MacBook kernel[0]: USBF: 2723.822 AppleUSBHubPort: Port 1 of Hub at 0x7d000000 reported error 0xe00002ed while doing set feature (resetting port)
... and so on ...

In bonus when I put my computer in sleep mode, it cyclicly wakeup and sleep. Again, in the system.log, I get this message that happen after getting my computer in sleep mode:
Jan 10 21:57:09 MacBook kernel[0]: USB caused wake event (EHCI)
...
Jan 10 21:57:42 MacBook kernel[0]: IOUSBWorkLoop::closeGate - interrupt Thread being held off

Someone can help me to solve my problem ?

Thanks!

I have the same problem on my Black MacBook. I reinstalled Mac OS X, and reset the System Management Bus. To try this, turn off the Macbook, disconnect all power (AC and Battery), press the power button for 5 seconds, then reassemble and power back up. Didn't do anything for me, but hey it's worth a try. After the reset the computer didn't even see the bluetooth until I opened system profiler. Weird.

Hey there. I have the same exact problem you have. My bluetooth is constantly acting up and when it is "not available" my computer will not sleep. I have tried multiple things:
trash plist, reset power manager, reset pram, trash config folder, etc.
The problem always comes back! I've been reading that it is a bad bluetooth module. Other people keep telling me its software issues, but I have hardly anything installed on the computer.

I contacted apple support and they sent me a box to send my macbook to the mac store to get looked at. I'll let you know what happens with it.

After my update to 10.4.8, the bluetooth was really flakey again. But, after a while, the problem became less and less frequent. Now the bluetooth has been flawless. As a precaution, I'm keeping the bluetooth on all the time since it doesn't use much power. I haven't tried to connect to anything in a while, but when I go in to discover other macs near me with bluetooth (during those long boring lectures), it works just fine. Weird. I'm going to poke around some of the other forums for a good solution for getting the extra buttons on my mouse to work. I would love to have the extra buttons for photoshop.
