I have only recently upgraded to Mac os Sierra, and since then ALL function keys have stopped working. The only one which does work is F11, which for some reason is focusing on dock, not changing the volume. I have tried various settings techniques i have seen online, but nothing is working. Holding fn down doesn't work either. HELP!!

Restart the computer holding down the command - option/alt - P - R keys before the gray screen appears. Continue to hold until you hear the startup chime for the second time.
Try a SMC reset. The article covers when this is required, but doing this will not affect anything.
