Does the Screen Recording in iOS 11 have the ability to recording using the iPad's built in microphone?

How do I solve this issue of not getting sound when I record even when I switch the mic on&off these no sound at all. When I start recording the music sound just cuts. I even restated it several times still nothing

See below Feb 22 post. You can make it work, but it is a pain.
Actually it’s not a bug, rather It is a feature that we can’t copy movies or videos.
I am facing the same problem. Apple should spell it out clearly that Facetime recording through the inbuilt iOS 11 recorder won't record audio.
But it doesnt work! whenever I use it the audio from the video doesnt get on there. Its only the background noise or Me speaking. I tried everything and its not working! Someone fix this please!!

It only records audio outside of video. Not screen recording.

It will only record the audio outside of the video, it will not record the sound of the video you are trying to record.

I'm experiencing the same thing, too. The audio from the ipad I was screen recording from was loud enough to be heard outside my bedroom, but I wonder why the ipad microphone doesn't pick it up.
How can I send a video with sound via messenger? Cause it sends the video...but not the sound?
