If you are sending to non-iOS devices, then you need to make sure that you have MMS turned on in the Settings, and you also need to make sure that you have an SMS/MMS plan from your carrier. How the Android phones handle a group text is as an SMS, and they do not handle long messages over 160 characters.

Just remember, it is not on your end, it is the receiver, the Android device. You should have an SMS/MMS plan if you are on AT&T. Again, this is one of those things where iOS and Android devices do not play well together, and the differences in iMessage versus SMS/MMS. I would say that we iPhone users have gotten spoiled by how we can send messages and how large they can be.

Chris, I am the receiver. They send me messages and it is cut off. I am open to any suggestions. I am not happy about going to the AT&T store. 😁

Okay, you never made that clear before. You would have to check with AT&T and/or contact your Android support. An iPhone can send a longer iMessage than you can with SMS/MMS. Trouble is, that an iPhone can take the longer message, an Android cannot. Generally it splits it into smaller message parts, but generally sends the entire message. You will have to see what AT&T says, since they control SMS/MMS.
