I-Tunes -burning CD's - error 4450

Hello, I've been trying to burn my play list on I-Tunes using Windows 10. Wasted many CD's because it keeps stopping and giving me an error 4450. Had this issue another time and figured it was the CD's that I was using and after going through and wasting a good portion of the 50 cd's I bought Verbatim CD-R 700 mb, 52x, 80 min. After several tries I was able to burn a couple cd's but now I just can't get it to work for me. I've tried lowering the burning speed also. Reading posts, this issue has been going on for years it appears. The only thing I've seen on the posts were to try burning at a lower speed or the brand of CD's may not work.

Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Play list will fill several cd's. This is just so very frustrating.

Hey cakirk,

Thanks for the update. Since this persists through different CDs and different playlists, another thing you can try is see if the issue persists to a different library. Create a new library and import some music and see if the trouble with burning CDs may be isolated to the library or iTunes.

Open a different iTunes Library file or create a new one

Hey cakirk,

If I understand correctly, you are trying to burn a CD in iTunes on Windows but you are getting an error. It looks like you have already done some troubleshooting. I would recommend you read this article and use it to help troubleshoot the issue.

Brandon, thanks for getting back to me. I've tried all the trouble shooting tips even before I wrote and just tried them again. If I burn as a data cd then they don't play at all. I've had problems for a very long time. Went through a ton of CD's and mostly threw them away. Figured I had to get another type of CD because I had Sony, now I have Verbatim 700 mb 52x 80 min. My play list is large therefore I'm burning multiple cd's. I've burned them other times and they have worked but it is kind of a hit and miss. Wasted a lot of money trying to burn coasters. Many other people have issues as I have seen a lot of posts so I'm wondering, why this problem exists.

Any other suggestions? Thanks again, Carolyn

Thank you so much for trying to help me. Still doesn't work. Just wish I knew what was causing the 4450 error. I still feel like it is something very simple. Maybe I'll figure it out one of these days. Thanks again.
