How do I get the Mail app on iOS 11 to connect to an AWS Workmail account?
Using the AWS instructions do not yield positive results for Apple's mail app but Outlook on iOS can connect.
Using iOS 11.0.3 on iPhone 5S.
I've got the Mail app to connect to email accounts on iCloud.com and Outlook.com already.

Hi. If you can access this account using the Outlook app, try looking in the Outlook settings to see what you may be missing. Look for server names, port numbers, and SSL.
That approach works on the Mail.app on MacOS but there is no opportunity to enter ports on the iOS Mail app. You can select SSL and enter server names which I have already attempted using both the Exchange and Other pathways for setting up my account.
What bugs me is that this did work previously on the iOS 11 upgrade. But I had to wipe my iPhone for other reasons and that left me with no option except to reset up everything.
oh, btw, Outlook on iOS is using the same server settings that I'm providing to iOS Mail.
Everything is back online. No idea why or how.
