My XP computer doesn't see the photos on my iPhone
Itunes says there are 2500 photos on my iPhone but my XP computer says there are none there and won't copy them.

Import to your PC
You can import photos to your PC by connecting your device to your computer and using Windows Photo Gallery:
- Make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes on your PC. Importing photos to your PC requires iTunes 12.5.1 or later.
- Connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to your PC with a USB cable.
- You might need to unlock your iOS device using your passcode.
- You might also see a prompt on the iOS device asking you to Trust This Computer. Tap Trust or Allow to continue.

When you import videos from your iOS device to your PC, some might be rotated incorrectly in Windows Photo Gallery. You can add these videos to iTunes to play them in the correct orientation.

As your phone is now on iOS 11 you will need iTunes 12.7 to interact with it. Also - your PC must be at least Windows 7 or above. As you are on XP I'm afraid you will need to upgrade your Windows software first.
