Calendar Invitation Error

I am also getting the same “Calendar Invitation” Error. SUPER ANNOYING! :-( NOT HAPPY. Also started since I updated the version to iOs 11.1. In my experience also slowed down the phone significantly and causes crashes and early auto-switch-offs at low-battery % levels (eg at 20%), but more frustrating is that the battery life is now much shorter and the phone cannot even last half a day anymore...

Still getting the issues after removing and deleting iCloud calender, contacts and reminders and restarting the device since removal.

Error Just seems to recur when activating the iCloud Calendar again???

Apple must please fix this.

I’m getting this too and turning Cal off in iCloud did not work! Hey Appe maybe you should just give everyone a new battery instead of discounting to passify this new issue!

I am having exactly the same problem and I do not want to lose my contacts either. How do I resolve this?

This did not help. In fact I keep getting interrupted with the pop up that is debilitating.

Thank you for your suggestions! It helped and the back up on my calendar didn’t take 20-40 mins. It only took about 5 mins!

I had this problem a couple of months ago, did the suggested fix and now it is back again .....

Any idea WHY it keeps happening ?
