HP 2600n Printer: Page too complex warning how to resolve?

I'm using a Macbook Pro running OS X 10.5 Yosemite. I have a HP laserjet 2600n that displays a Pge Too Complex error. I have tried turning the printer off/on and the page will eventually print after several tries. Can this issue be resolved?
