Objective: I have a IPA file which I want to install in my iPhone 6s through MAC

To get the objective done, I followed below steps:

A. Opened my email, I download the ipa file at MAC desktop

B. I have connected the iPhone 6s through USB plug with the MAC machine

C. I found iPhone 6s detected by MAC and the images from iPhone device opened automatically.

D. I then clicked on iTune and found the mobile icon at top left side at iTune and also see the iPhone 6 s at Device list under the Left panel.

E. I then click on Sync button.

F. I also click on File at iTunes and select the option Device > "Transfer Purchases"

G. I then click on Apps and found it's blank. No APP displayed with is installed at my iPhone.

H. I then drag and drop the IPA which I have download at Apps section under iTunes for the iPhone 6s

Expected: the Apps will be installed

Actual: Nothing Happend

I also tried by click on ipa and open with iTunes and I also expect it will install the app in iPhone 6s. Nothing happened. It's just blank like white note pad. I am not getting what should I do /follow to install the app at iPhone 6s.

Please help me.

Hello AmbarishSen,

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to get an iOS app you have on your computer on your iPhone with iTunes on your Mac. To do this, please follow the steps in this process.

Manually add items from your computer

If you have media on your computer that you can't redownload from the App Store or iTunes Store directly on your iOS device, such as custom ringtones or iOS apps, you can drag and drop the media from your computer to your iOS device using iTunes.

  1. Connect your device to your computer.
  2. Open iTunes. Make sure that you have the latest version.
  3. On your computer, find the item you want to add to your device. If you're looking for Apps, Tones, or Books (for Windows) that previously appeared in your iTunes library, you can find them in your iTunes media folder.
  4. Drag the item from your computer to your iOS device in the left sidebar of iTunes.User uploaded file

Manually manage content on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using iTunes

Cheers!

No reason for rudeness.

You asked are you serious?

I gave you the link to show that, yes, they are serious.

I doubt that Apple has any expectations of your connections.

This is a user to user support forum, not really a place for venting or ranting. The link I provided explains the changes. Not sure what else you are asking. If you have more questions for fellow iTunes users, then please ask.

Wow! Posting a link with no other comments suggests it has a solution to the problem being discussed.

And the only reason I'm here and talking about this embarrassment of an application called iTunes is that maybe the pathetic degenerates who came up with it would come across my comments.

You can express your discontent here:

Apple - Feedback

FWIW, it will likely be of no use but at least you channeled your

discontent to the right place.

The direction of Apple and iDevices is steadily pushing to the point

of being held hostage by their great and wonderful iCloud.

The unfortunate thing, is the only alternative is even worse.
