I have installed 10.13.4 update, but unfortunately I found out the bug is not fixed yet.

Mail app version is 11.3 (3445.6.18).

The problem happens for me for a non-gmail account.

This is happening to me as well and it has become problematic. I haven't found any legit fixes on apple community, so plan to take my laptop in to the apple store and see whats going on.

It's three weeks later.... Did they come up with anything?

I'm having the same problem but it's with messages in the inbox. No rules. Driving me crazy! Has anyone found any other solutions???

Well, it doesn't work anymore (for me)!

I guess Almojgar was right in that it is a problem with the IMAP protocol.

I don't have a fix 😟

I wish I could say I was surprised, but a total lack of responsibility and overall incompetence seems to be standard operating procedure at Tim Cook's Apple.

Then you do not get the attachments in any mail. What is the point?

It didn't help me when I tried. The attachments that I manually download they are infected. So it hasn't with the account to do.
