How do i stop my Apple watch from receiving phone calls?

As a Uber driver in Brisbane Australia, I use my iPhone 7 Plus to receive phone calls from my Uber Driver App via a Jabra Bluetooth headset. However whenever there is an incoming phone call, my new Apple Watch 2 rings instead and allows me to either Accept or Reject the call. If I accept then I have to talk via the watch and if I reject, I lose the call.

This is hard to do when I only have about 15 seconds to answer and I'm driving in 6 lanes of traffic, plus it's just too hard to hear. Please does anyone know how to turn off and not accept phone calls via my Apple Watch without disabling the other watch apps. Hopefully this is the right community to ask this question.

Thanks

Kevin

If you answer the call using your phone instead of your watch, it should direct the call to your headset instead of the watch...If you answer the call with your watch, then your watch accepts the call and audio goes through the watch. This should be helpful if you still want to receive calls on your watch when you're not driving for Uber....However, if you never want to accept calls on your watch, you can use the above mentioned method.

Hi, thanks for your reply and sorry that I haven't been able to reply sooner. Ive actioned your recommendations and tested it using Google Maps by having my partner phone me from her Smartphone. It worked just fine but as Uber has their own App similar to Google Maps, I will not know until I drive again, as I only drive for Uber on a casual basis. I will let you know the result after the next customer phones me. Thanks again.

Thanks for your prompt reply. Sorry I haven't been able to get back to you sooner. I haven't actioned your solution as I chose to try the one provided by woollenwice. However, I won't know how well it works until after I drive for Uber again. If the other solution doesn't work, then I will try what you recommend and let you know accordingly. Thanks once again.
