Hi, raseys!

Thanks for visiting the Apple Support Communities. From your post, I understand that you want to download pictures from iCloud.com , but have a large number so want to do them all at once. I'd be happy to help!

Using your web browser to log into iCloud.com, you can select multiple pictures by holding the shift key on your keyboard, then selecting the pictures with your cursor. You can then download all selected pictures by clicking the download cloud icon in the upper right of the page.

Alternatively, you can download iCloud for Windows, and use the instructions here to download your pictures automatically, or manually by year: Set up and use iCloud Photo Library on your Windows PC - Apple Support .

Cheers!

Actually im almost 100% positive that it is INTENTIONAL. Apple really wants you to pay for icloud storage increase. However, if they have the option to select all pictures they would lose a ton of $$$$. An iphone costs anywhere between $700-1000 NOT INCLUDING TAX and they still want more.

I recommend disabling icloud for pictures all together. Just use google photos instead.

Unless you want to manually select each photo out of several thousands of photos and if you screw up well guess what, start over?

Hey guys! I've been frustrated by this stupid bug for so long, as so many people I see on web. But I found a "smart' way to do that (since Apple doesn't bother to provide a normal function. Still can't believe it). So to get rid of all the pics you need to go to Moments and hover over the right side next to the title for each "Moment", then click +. It'll select all those pictures to make an album, but you can just throw them right into trash instead and never see this endless garbage again 🙂

Agree 100%, I have no respect for the company any longer. They let you upload 10,000 pics at a click, but require 10,000 clicks to reverse it. Apple is sh.. like the rest. Retiring very soon and one bullet should be able to go through the Mac, ipad, and iphone easily!!! Computers can fly a plane, control 100 drones in tandem, and trillions of other awesome technologically impressive tasks, except Apple cannot figure out how to let people manage there files appropriately.

If you have a Mac that you are trying to download your photos to, it is a simple thing to select "Download Originals to this Mac". If you are attempting to download them elsewhere, why not explain what it is you are trying to do specifically, and we will see if we can help.

Actually, in my version of MacOS Mojave, I had to use "Export" from Photos, not "download." I was leery of re-enabling Photos because older versions would aggressively suck in every image file from every device ever plugged into my computer, even freezing the computer for hours while doing it. But that horrible behavior seems to be avoidable now. So I did succeed in copying my hundreds of iPhone pictures to an external hard drive, without moving thousands of external picture files into the Evil Photos App. This process was very frustrating, especially to a Windows refugee and retired software exec who knows what CAN be done. But at least there seems now to be a workaround via Photos.
