I can't connect my Sony WH - 1000Xm2 wireless headphones MacBook Pro running Sierra. They have paired with my iphone but don't show on my bluetooth settings on my MBP. Any ideas? Thanks

It worked! I turned off the bluetooth on my phone and turned off the bluetooth on my UE Boom speaker (from where I'd been playing music). I still had my keyboard and mouse bluetooth functioning. After I turned off the phone and speaker, the headphones showed up in the bluetooth preferences window and I was able to pair! (I had previously turned off the Sony headphones and held down the power button for 7 seconds when turning back on to enter bluetooth pairing mode on the headphones 🙂

thanks for your reply, I had tried switching off any other bluetooth devices but still no joy. Eventually I got help from Apple, as following the instructions wasn't working. After a few attempts, it was a restart that sorted it out and they appeared in the list and connected straight away after the 7 second button press. 🙂
