APLZOD.dll causing Outlook problem

I loaded Office 2016 and activated it. When I run Outlook I get the message so many have had before re missing APLZOD.DLL file. I have found many posts about this but none solve my problem. I have removed and reinstalled Office 2016 as well as removing and reinstalling iCloud which this dll file relates to. Help please.

Hey everybody with this problem, I found and fixed the problem so I am once again a very happy camper. In my case, the problem was caused by a multitude of keys inn the registry under Microsoft/office/16/outlook all of which referred to this APLZOD.dll file. I deleted them all and Outlook now works fine. I hope this may help you if, like me, none of the other fixes worked.

Hello Javaliga. Thank you for your attention to my plight. I appreciate it. I tried all the suggestions in the dialogues you pointed me to but still no success. I uninstalled iCloud and Office 2016 and then tried installing them in different orders. I saw one suggestion re uninstalling update KB3191898 but I cannot see it on my update history list.

Any other thoughts or ideas please?
