Do you know if there is any way to sort songs alphabetically in a playlist on iOS 11?
iPhone 7, iOS 11.0.3
(Do this first) So on your computer you select the playlist you want to sort, go up top to View, go to View As then select artist, name, album etc. (Do this second to make sure it's sorted on your phone right) plug in your phone, go to the phone, go to where it says on my device and select the playlist you want to sort go to View again and select Sort By then pick what you want to sort the music by, then sync your phone. I believe this is the only way to sort the music how you want to, is on your actual computer.
Thanks!!! Hated this so much, finally worked. Still annoying to duplicate every playlist onces you added new numbers to your playlists... But it works this way. Apple needs to fix this simple things though...
That was awesome! The problem has annoyed me for some time because I have a playlist of songs that I play with a group, and we are constantly adding. I need an easy way to find them, and what can be easier than alphabetical. Thanks for making this work for me. Hugs!
Use to be able to do that in iTunes on the computer but haven’t found a way to do it on the newest update.
Really wondering the same, looks like even if you sort the playlist by name on Itunes then on mobile it remains by Artist. Please help!

Good idea but doesn't work because "playlist" does not show up as an option in the list of things on my iphone when I have it attached to the computer (windows 10)

I tried what Pauli89 said and, sadly, it didn’t work. Why does Apple make this so confusing? I have a newer phone with the most updated system, so it’s not an issue on my end.

When I click on "view", I don't have "sort".
I went ahead and sort by playlist order however it didn't change the random order of songs on my iPhone 8.
So frustrating!

Don't know why the "Most Helpful" answer nby Pauli89 is considered helpful, as it does not answer the original question. There is no sort in iOS 11. Not helpful. Just adding to the replies so that others aren't confused.
As others have mentioned - the work-around is to go into iTunes and try to sort and then re-sync. I think.
