I can't make Canon LBP9100cdn work in Mac OS High Sierra

I have been trying to make Canon LBP9100Cdn functional in Mac OS High Sierra but printer is not able to communicate. It says Cant Connect to CCPD and operation timed OUt. Please help.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch,Early 2015), Other OS

I have had another check with Canon, and found this, http://www.supportcanon.com/canon-lbp9100cdn-driver-download/ If you scroll down the page to the mac drivers you should see this.

As you can see the first driver download does say it is for High Sierra and Sierra, so hopefully this will work.

Another thing you could try is this. macOS Sierra: Reset the printing system

It says not supported by current OS. I can install Mac_CAPT V3.93 but can't print. Gives following error:

I am not sure whether the cable that I am using came with the printer. I have tried three different cable but no result. I have a feeling that the old printer driver is interfering correction operation. Even after installing V3.93, it just shows V3.90. It gives following error:

I can't say i did correctly or not but I did follow that instruction but of no use. Several time both Mac and printer was restarted. Even deleted printer and reset etc. Anyway than you for your assistance. Don't know what is wrong. When i plugged in the printer USB cable the mac immediately recognizes the printer. Driver installation goes smoothly but when we give print command, it just results in error.
