"this connection is not private" on iphone

My iPhone 6S is having issues connecting to a wireless network that has a login screen. I've already changed the settings to auto join and turned off auto login because the login screen pops up blank and then disappears. So I did the foregoing to manually join by entering the IP address in Safari. But I get a screen that says "This Connection Is Not Private" without an option to continue to the website anyway. This started after I updated to the new OS for iPhone.

iOS 11.0.3

I have the same problem too since yesterday when the phone automatically updated. All my secure settings are now saying not secure. Even my bank! I am using my home wifi which is very secure so its not what others are saying about using a coffee shop wifi. It is definitely a problem with the software update as I had a similar problem a few years ago with my emails after an update!

Apple need to know the problem exists and fix it ASAP

If it is a captive portal, such as used at coffee shops and restaurants, it requires you to to go to a website and click on something saying you agree to terms and conditions or enter a user ID and password.

Once you tap on join network, safari should open the page automatically.

If it is not, you have to try rejoining.

Every new session will require you to go back to the website and agree again.
