Logic not saving Project File Backups

Logic is only saving one Project File Backup and writing over it on successive saves. I have tried trashing preferences, running Disk Utility, and even re-installing Logic, but still the same bug.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm running macOS High Sierra 10.13.1 and Logic 10.3.2.

How about, log in to a different user on your Mac and see if that works. I would try a new Project and also open a Project that you have trouble with under your main user account. You have to copy it to the shared folder first so you have access to it.

This way you can see if it is something on your user directory.

Try to change the setting int he System Preferences.

In previous Logic versions, it followed that setting until they implemented their separate setting. Maybe in High Sierra there is some confusion.

Also, I'm not sure if you are familiar with the "inside" file structure of theaProject File (or comfortable opening it up). There you can see the Backup Files. You can keep the folder open and see if it fills up. Every Project Alternative has its own backups so you can further investigate its behavior.

Good Luck
