Can't download MOV files video files to Mac Pro now what?

You might be able to, as the other poster said, if it’s on a card, otherwise maybe iMovie and a FireWire cable, if you have them both. I think the trick is to get the Mac to recognize there’s a camera connected-Panasonic should be ok on that-no special formats, I hope. I’m not too familiar with that model of camcorder and I’m typing this on my iPhone. Otherwise you may have to borrow a video capture device,and see if that works. I’d suggest QuickTime player, but I don’t know how well it works for that. Have you tried Panasonic’s website to see if they have any tricks up their sleeves, or if you might need a bit of software..
