Disable automatic App archiving

In iOS 11 i enabled 'archive unused apps' to save space.

1. How do I now disable this feature? I cannot see the option in "iphone storage" settings (where I originally enabled it).

This feature archived an app that I *do* use, and now I can't reinstall it because it is no longer on the app store.

2. How do I get this app back?

Very dissatisfied

Hi gdevansm,

I'm sorry to hear that you're unhappy with iOS 11's app offload feature. To disable the App Offload feature, go to Settings > iTunes & App Store. Here, you'll find a setting at the bottom of the page labelled "Offload Unused Apps" - switch this to the off position.

This is a good reply, but a word of advice. Please don't do this. See this para in the ToU,

Do not ask for points. If you feel the system is not clear to users, please provide feedback to Apple; do not instruct other users unless they ask.
