Can’t activate iPhone x bought on ebay !

Hi ! I bought) an iPhone X , Verizon unlocked version from eBay ( the guy bought it from Apple store . So now when I tried to set it up I ve got this message ? What should I do ?

If the Ebay listing described how the phone can be used and you are trying to use it in that manner, then you should contact the seller and seek a resolution and failing that file a complaint with EBay for an item "not as decribed."

Alternatively you could try to activate the phone with Verizon, if it will allow it.

It MUST be activated on Verizon before it can be used on any other carrier. Because it was purchased under a specific Verizon account, it may have to be activated on that account before it becomes usable.

Thanks for your answer . The iPhone was brand new come unopened, it’s an verizon unlocked phone and yes I am in contact with the seller he’s trying to help , he’ll contact Verizon today .
