Hello everyone. I have recently updated GarageBand 11 with the most recent update and now it wont recognize my apogee jam. I had no problems with this before the update. I would just plug it into the lightning port and it could play my guitar through the amp simulators. Now it is just using the built in microphone on my ipad and i dont see a way to change the input. Help.

GarageBand '11 is a Mac application. Which version are you using on your iPad?
Looks like Apogee Jam 96k requires a firmware update for iOS 11 compatibility.
You have to use USB adapter from Apple and USB-Lightning cable then will work after update to iOS 11.

Yeah unfortunately you have to download it on either a Mac with a particular operating system version or pc with a particular os. I have access to neither. I wish I could just update my iPad directly.
Sorry I guess it’s not called GarageBand 11. Its the iPad app.
Great! Now it’s working well on iOS 11.
