How can I change sensitivity of the watch please

How can I change sensitivity of the watch as I have to wear it on my right wrist as my left is non usable so while I’m typing the clock is being illuminated which is depleting the battery

There is no user setting for adjusting touchscreen sensitivity or the level of sensitivity to wrist movements.


It may help to calibrate your Apple Watch, including resetting any existing calibration data. Calibration teaches your Apple Watch how your arm movements relate to your stride lengths at different speeds when you are walking and/or running. It does this, during outdoor walk and/or outdoor run workouts that are recorded via the Workout app, by comparing data from the accelerometer with GPS (Location Services) data.


To calibrate your Apple Watch - and to reset existing calibration data - follow the instructions here:



You may otherwise wish to turn off the feature that wakes the the screen upon raising your wrist:


On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > General > Wake Screen > turn off Wake Screen on Wrist Raise.
