Question mark on dock folder
On updating my MacBook Pro to 10.13.1, 2 folders on my dock changed to 'Question marks' and won't open.
What should I do?
MacBook Pro TouchBar and Touch ID, macOS High Sierra (10.13.1)

The icons which appear in the dock are really just pointers ("aliases") to the real items - in this case folders. You need to go find those folders and drag them into the Dock to recreate the aliases.

Right click on the Folders, and determine if the originals can be located by selecting "Show in Finder":
If that is not successful, do you know what the folders previously represented?
As a last resort, just remove them from the Dock, and replace them with the originals.
This means the dock somehow has lost track of the location of those 2 folders. You just need to remove those question marks from the dock in the usual way (control-click, options, remove from Dock) and drag the actual folders back to the dock from wherever they are.
It means that the items' locations have changed such that the Dock aliases cannot find them or their names have changed. Locate the appropriate items and drag them into the Dock to re-establish your collection.
That is completely different problem. You really should start you own thread for it rather then highjacking this one.
