iOS 11"A problem occurred with this webpage so it was reloaded"

In Safari on my iPhone 6 with iOS 11, I keep getting the popup message:

"A problem occurred with this webpage so it was reloaded"

This doesn't seem to happen in Safari on my MBA but it is frequent on my iPhone (even when trying to go to Apple.com. Here is the screen shot. This happens too frequently to think that is not a problem but only seems to have started with iOS 11. However, I see that there are posts on this same issue from 2015 and 2016. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello SlippySlope,

Thanks for asking the Apple Support Communities for help with Safari on your iPhone. I am happy to check this out with you.

I recommend trying the steps provided in this help article: If Safari displays a blank page or quits on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Also, as stated in the article, you should try this on another network, and if you are experiencing this issue while connected to Wi-Fi, you can try on cellular data by turning off Wi-Fi in Settings > Wi-Fi. Be aware this will use your cellular data. If the issue does not happen on your cellular network, this is an issue with the network you are connected to. Remember to re-enable Settings > Wi-Fi once you are done testing.

Thanks and have a great weekend.
