Cannot anymore connect to shares through Finder with smb...?

Since I upgraded to High Sierra, the network shares which are available to me and were used daily with Sierra, cannot be mounted anymore.


In Finder the command was "Go" -> "Connect to Server" -> smb:.....


Hoping this can be resolved quickly.
